Looking back at command; three days left

On 12 August 2004, my time as commander of National Capital Wing began.  And on 14 March 2009, it will come to what seems like an abrupt end.  It is very true what they say about time flying.  In preparing for the change of command, I was asked to list all of ‘my’ accomplishments during this tenure.  I found it to be difficult; my accomplishments seemed incorrect, what I could list were the wing’s accomplishments.  What the wing did during my command time was the result of the efforts of many members – was it not my duty to give them that opportunity?
