Golfers Needed!

National Capital Wing is sponsoring a four-person golf team to compete in the 11th Wing 2009 Golf Tournament to represent Civil Air Patrol as a tenant unit on Bolling Air Force Base, D.C.  The tournament is hosted by the base commander, Col Jon A. Roop, which will be held at the courses on Andrews AFB, Md., Friday, Aug. 14.  Check-in begins at 0730 with a shotgun start at 0930 on the East Course.  The green fees, golf cart, first through third place prizes, door prizes and a meal are included in the registration fee, which we will cover.

All members of NatCap, including cadets, are eligible to participate.  To apply for a spot on the team, please send me at e-mail at pa@natcapwg.cap.gov by July 28 with the following information:

• Full name and rank;
• CAP unit and duty position;
• Phone number;
• E-mail address;
• If you are a member of the Andrews Golf Course;
• Your golf skill-level; and
• Why you should represent Civil Air Patrol at the tournament.
