WWII Honor Flight

Responding to a last minute request for assistance, former National Capital Wing Commander Col Jane Davies volunteered to assist the Honor Flight Network to escort WWII veteran Lou Sala at the WWII Memorial last week.  The veterans later toured the Vietnam Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery.  A group of 170 heroes from the second world war were flown into D.C. from Ocala, Florida, for a one-day visit.  The veterans were greeted upon their return to Florida by the Patriot Guard Riders.
